ACRA to Launch New Bizfile Portal on December 9
The Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) of Singapore has announced that it will officially launch the new Bizfile portal on December 9, 2024, replacing the existing BizFile+ system. The new platform aims to provide users with smoother electronic services for company registration, information updates, annual filings, and business data searches.

Key Updates:
- Enhanced User Experience: The new Bizfile features an intuitive design that integrates multiple e-services, streamlines business processes, and provides step-by-step navigation to help users complete various filings more efficiently.
- Improved Data Integrity and Governance: A stricter authorization process has been introduced to ensure that agents obtain formal authorization from clients before filing on their behalf. Additionally, a new "switch role" feature allows users to switch between different entities, ensuring the accuracy of filing data.
- Assisting Business Compliance: The new platform features a clear "to-do" list that reminds users to complete important tasks such as annual filings and business registration renewals in a timely manner, helping businesses comply with regulatory requirements.
- Enhanced Personal Data Protection: The concept of "contact address" has been introduced to replace the previous "alternate address," allowing users to choose a public contact address to protect personal privacy.
- Convenient Access to Business Data: The new Bizfile integrates search functionality, allowing users to search for corporate and individual information through a single search bar, covering entities registered with ACRA as well as those registered with other government agencies.
ACRA held an online webinar on October 29, 2024, providing detailed information about the features and updates of the new Bizfile. The presentation from the webinar is available on ACRA's official website.
To ensure a smooth transition, ACRA will conduct system migration from December 4 to December 9, 2024. During this period, the existing BizFile+ service will be suspended, and users will need to complete relevant filings in advance or proceed after the new system goes live.
The launch of the new Bizfile marks an important step for ACRA in digital transformation and enhancing user services. Businesses and the public can look forward to a more efficient, secure, and convenient online service experience.
